Rooted in traditional craftsmanship, the company has played a significant role in introducing Japanese incense culture to the world, often collaborating with international partners and exhibiting at trade fairs. In 2011, Daihatsu's incense manufacturing and Harima’s match production met, leading to a collaboration that resulted in a unique product: an incense that could be lit like a match. This collaboration blends two traditional industries of Hyogo Prefecture and aims to create innovative ways to enjoy fragrance while preserving Japan's cultural heritage. Daihatsu continues to push boundaries with its commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and the spirit of fragrance, striving to make incense a familiar part of everyday life worldwide.
