Wood and Chisel - Oak Vase

In response to being surrounded by everyday objects that lacked creativity and beauty, Christchurch’s Wood & Chisel brings you stunning pieces that inject some of that joy and magic back into your everyday. Each piece is designed and executed by Ōtautahi local, John Robertson who hand-turns and carves each item in his small workshop attached to his family home, making each piece truely unique. 

With woods salvaged from all over Aotearoa, these dried flower vases are perfect on their own, or as a set. Fill them with dried blooms, incense, taper candles for a romantic dinner setting and more. The unmistakable golden hue of the oak has been sanded and oiled to perfection in this one-of-a-kind vase; waiting to be filled with all kinds of beauty, or celebrated for its stunning grain and natural wood on its own.
