Raphidophora decursiva

Rhaphidophora decursiva, commonly known as the Dragon Tail Plant or Philodendron Dragon, is a climber that features lush foliage and often grown as an indoor plant.

The leaves are large and dark green, and very aesthetic.

It will slowly climb a pole or grow as a spreading ground cover if it has nothing to climb. 

When grown indoors, it does best in a location that receives several hours of bright indirect light. Avoid prolonged periods of direct sunlight which can burn the plant’s leaves, but also avoid low-light conditions if possible.

This plant should be watered once the top few inches of soil have dried out. The “soak and dry” method of watering is ideal for this plant.

The Rhaphidophora decursiva benefits from regular fertilising during the spring and summer months. Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser once a month during watering for best results.

Please note that whilst the Raphidophora looks like a Monstera Deliciosa it is not part of the Monstera family :)
